Information about Jinn in The Qur'an

Information about Jinn in The Qur'an

This is only a small portion of information I took from Al-Qur'an, in fact fully informed about the genie you can see in The Al - Quran Surah Al-Jinn

Jinn is one of the creatures created by God, they were created from the fire before the creation of Adam. Allah says “And the jinn, we created aforetime from the smokeless flame of Fire” (Surah Al-Hijr, verse 27)

Before God sent the prophet Muhammad SAW, the genie has an place in the sky so they can steal information from the sky, but when God sent the prophet Muhammad, it is not allowed anymore. And whoever among the jinn were trying to steal information through hearing them, then they will be burned by fire arrows. This information can be found in Qur’an, Surah Al-Jinn, verse 8-9: “And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. ‘And Verily, we used to sit there In stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming Fire watching Him In ambush”.

When the prophet PBUH was in mecca, God brought some Jinn, and they listened the reading of Qur'an and those influenced by it. Allah says “And (remember) when we sent towards You (Muhammad Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) Nafran (three to ten persons) of the jinns, (quietly) listening to the Qur'ân, when they stood In the presence thereof, they said: "Listen In silence!" and when it was finished, they returned to their people, as warners”. (Surah Al-Ahqaf, verse 29).

Some of the jinn have faith in God when he heard Al-Qur'an. Allah says “Say (O Muhammad Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam): "It has been revealed to Me that a group (from three to ten In number) of jinns listened (to This Qur'ân). they said: 'Verily! we have heard a wonderful recital (this Qur'ân)! 'It guides to the Right path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with Our Lord (Allâh)”. (Surah Al-Jinn, verse 1-2).

All the jinn were given responsibility such as humans, then among the jinn, there are believers and some are unbelievers. This information can be found in Qur’an, Surah Al-Jinn, verse 8-9 : “There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary; we are groups each having a different Way (religious sect, etc.)” (Surah Al-Jinn, verse 11).

Allah has created the jinn and man to worship Him, those who obey and worship God he will get into heaven and those who deny it then he will go to hell. Allah says “And I (Allâh) created not the jinns and humans except they should Worship Me (Alone)”. (Surah Adz-Dzariyaat, verse 56).

Benefit will be obtained by the genie in the hereafter is the same as what is obtained by humans. Whoever is faithful and righteous to God then they will get into heaven, and those who disbelieve in God then they will go to hell. This information can be found in Qur’an, Surah Al-Jinn, verse 14-15 : “And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allâh, after listening to This Qur'ân), and of us some are Al-Qâsitûn (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'. and Whosoever has embraced Islâm (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allâh), Then such have sought the Right Path." and as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell”.
